Junior Firefighters

The Junior Firefighter Program is designed for teenagers between the ages of 16 and 17 to volunteer and develop a sense of responsibility in their community. Junior firefighters attend department functions, attend training programs, and learn the fundamentals of firefighting. The hope is that junior firefighters join as regular firefighters upon turning 18, develop a sense of responsibility for their community, and open possible career opportunities in the fire service.
