Junior Firefighters

The Junior Firefighters program is an outreach program that aims to foster the interests of our community's youth in the fire service. Junior firefighters receive turnout gear, can attend all department functions, and receive the same training as firefighters. The purpose of the program is to assist teenagers between the ages of 16 and 17 to see if they truly wish to pursue a future in emergency services, specifically the fire service. While a junior they will also receive firefighter training, that will go towards their state fire certification. There are many advantages for Junior firefighter's in Warsaw, if interested, come to the Warsaw Fire Department and find out more.
